I Will Write If You Will Give Me A Topic

I would totally love to write something, but I am sitting here at a complete loss of what to write about. I have thought about it every day for a while...I just can't think of anything that inspires me. The things I think about lately would be pretty intense and depressing. So, give me a topic...ask me a question...anything, anything at all....and then I will be happy to write!

Um, tell us some good memories of your sister, merry. I think we would all like to hear about how great she was as a kid.Or you can write about how great she is now...it is totally up to you.

Please comment on the proliferation of "unrated" movies.. What is this all about? All through my life people have felt the need to "rate" movies, but now I keep seeing advertisements for "unrated versions" of movies..

Please tell me what this is all about?

Tolkien's idea that God created the world through singing (the Silmirillion)

Posted by: Ian on April 20, 2006 12:09 AM

that wasn't exclusive to Tolkien--C.S. Lewis paints a picture of Aslan creating Narnia through his song (The Magician's Nephew).

post about your songwriting routine?

do create a new world every time you write another song?

Posted by: Anonymous on April 20, 2006 09:47 AM

i think lewis copied (or gave tribute to) tolkien's idea of creation through song. magicians nephew was written decades after tolkien's account.

I gotta agree with Jase here. I think that C.S. Lewes was heavily influenced by Tolkien.

Okay, I wasn't actually arguing--just throwing out the fact that that concept is also in The Chronicles of Narnia. That scene of Aslan creating Narnia has always stuck with me...So, it's fine with me that Tolkien had the idea first. Maybe Lewis was just agreeing with him. :-)

How about posting something that truly makes you happy and you smile any time you think of it?

The funniest thing your kids have ever done or said.

There are so many funny things though... you could just write a list.

darb, you are my favorite female artist besides enya. For real....How come you haven't been signed yet? This is just plan annoying. When you get signed and make a ton of money you have to hire me as your nanny and your massage therapist and pay me a ton of money.

Why do kids naturally like "toilet humor" so much.

Come to think of it, why do I?

I haven't read every post, but if you haven't written about it yet, write about when music became your friend.
